These elongated souvenirs are produced with the PNNA's elongating machine at the annual Washington State (Puyallup) Fair, Puyallup, Washington. The PNNA booth is very popular at the Fair Hobby Hall. The quantity produced is estimated at more than 4,000 annually, mostly on cents but sometimes on other coins. Copper cents (instead of copper plated zinc) are used whenever possible to give a higher-quality product.

The giant pumpkins depicted on the coins.are about as popular as the PNNA booth in the Hobby Hall!

Beginning this year, many of the elongateds are two-sided. The reverse is the "landscape" design subsequently used on the 2017 spring convention pieces (see spring elongateds).
