WCC / PNNA Fall Convention Report - 2015 |
Convention ReportThe Willamette Coin Club/Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association fall show was a success for the 11th consecutive year at the Lloyd Center DoubleTree Hotel in Portland, with an active bourse and collector exhibits. There was a steady stream of registrants for more than an hour when the show opened to the public at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Thanks to all who attended! Convention Dates/Times:

Young Numismatist/Family ProgramsThere was a general public and youth and family activities table inside the show (sometimes known as the "WCC-PNNA Kid's Educational Zone") which provided youth, families and non-collectors with FREE hobby introduction information and educational materials. Included was a FREE youth Numismatic TREASURE HUNT on both Saturday and Sunday, and approximately 25 younsters participated in addition to about eight scouts. Running the youth activities again this year was the ever-popular ANA immediate past president, Walt Ostromecki. Photos
