Young Numismatist/Family Programs

There was a general public and youth and family activities table inside the show (sometimes known as the "WCC-PNNA Kid's Educational Zone") which provided youth, families and non-collectors with FREE hobby introduction information and educational materials. Included was a FREE youth Numismatic TREASURE HUNT on both Saturday and Sunday, and approximately 25 younsters participated in addition to about eight scouts. Running the youth activities again this year was the ever-popular ANA immediate past president, Walt Ostromecki.

The specially prepared "coin cake" shown here was on display Saturday at the show, and was consumed at the board meeting Saturday evening. It was excellent! The next PNNA/WCC fall convention is scheduled for October 7-9, 2016 in Portland, Oregon.
