The 2nd Quarter 2020 edition of the PNNA’s publication, The Nor’wester, is now available online at https://pnna.org/news/pdf/PNNAnews2020_Q2.pdf.
This is a 16-page spring edition with eight color pages. Here’s a summary of the contents:
- Important information about the cancellation of the PNNA spring convention in Tukwila (originally scheduled for April).
- PNNA President’s message by James Reinders.
- An interesting feature article, “National Banks Names: A Window into United States Economic History,” by Tom Tullis.
- A short report, also with cover photo, about “Tom Rogers at Carson City Mint” (for the CC Mint’s 150th anniversary).
- A summary of PNNA and ANA news available online, including information about National Coin Week.
- Advertisements by ANACS, Heritage Auctions and local PNNA dealers. Special discounted ANACS submissions are still available.
Back issues of The Nor’wester are available online.
Election! PNNA members should have received an election ballot (either in paper or PDF form) for PNNA officers and board members for the 2020-2022 term of office. The new officers, board members and committees will be listed in the PNNA Governance section as soon as the new officers are installed, which is expected to take place via a phone conference on April 18.
Once again, thank you for your interest in the PNNA!
Sincerely,
Eric Holcomb
