16th Annual Fall Coin Show, Tukwila, WA
October 8-10, 2021
All previous PNNA fall coin shows were in Portland, in cooperation with the WCC. This was the first PNNA Tukwila fall coin show!
Note there is overlap in the counting – the first 15 PNNA fall shows were in Portland, and are also counted as WCC annual coin shows.

According to PNNA convention chairman Kevin Charboneau, “I think the PNNA show was a great success. There was a steady stream of buyers coming through the door. The vendors I spoke with were very happy.” Although a few dealers didn’t come and educational activities including collector exhibits were more limited (just one noncompetitive exhibit on the bourse floor), overall it was a big success for people returning to a PNNA show for the first time in two years.
Due to uncertainties about the 2021 fall shows, the PNNA did not produce a special edition of The Nor’wester. Instead, the 4th Quarter 2021 edition of The Nor’wester is a smaller 8-page color edition, and extra paper copies are not available. Members subscribed to paper copies should have received their copies before the fall Tukwila show – the copies were mailed on Sept. 29, 2021.
Washington State (Puyallup) Fair

The Fair began Labor Day weekend (on Sept. 3), and ran until Sept. 26, 2021. We hope you were able to attend!
PNNA activities at the Fair took place in the Hobby Hall, for nine specific two- to five-hour presentations only (NOT the entire Fair as in the past).

PNNA Convention/Spring Coin Show
Tukwila, Washington
The convention was scheduled for April 9-11, 2021.
Due to the spring coin show cancellation, the 2nd Quarter 2021 edition of The Nor’wester is a smaller 12-page color edition, and extra paper copies are not available. Members subscribed to paper copies should have received their copies by about April 10, 2021. Thanks to ANACS and Heritage Auctions for advertising in this edition, along with West Coast Coins, a couple other local dealers, and an Idaho coin show which was held the same weekend (April 10-11) as the PNNA show was originally scheduled.

April 18-24, 2021. Theme: “Money, Big & BOLD,” inspired by the celebration of the Morgan, Peace and Eisenhower dollars. See PNNA NCW award information.

The seminar was scheduled for June 19-July 1, 2021, in two weeklong sessions. Free eLearning courses were available instead.

Boeing Employees’ Coin Show
The show was scheduled for Jan. 16-17, 2021, in Kent, Wash.
The Nor’wester – Although the 2021 Boeing Employees’ Coin Show was cancelled, the PNNA still published the 1st Quarter 2021 edition of The Nor’wester, with an article pertaining to “numismatic show & tell,” including items which would normally be shown to Scouts at the Boeing show. There are also ads in this edition from ANACS, West Coast Coins and Jeff Shevlin. Paper copies were mailed to subscribers on Jan. 7, 2021.

ANA National Money Show®. Was scheduled for Mar. 11-13, 2021, at the Phoenix Conv. Center in Phoenix, Ariz. The ANA scheduled Phoenix again for the 2023 show.
